RESOURCE: OFFICE OF OMBUDSMAN FOR OLDER MINNESOTANS
Brief Description: The Ombudsman works with consumers, concerned citizens, nursing homes, home care agencies, hospitals, and public agencies. The mission of the Ombudsman program is to enhance the quality of care and life of older individuals receiving healthcare and supportive services in a nursing home, at home, in a hospital or other community setting such as adult foster care, adult day care, and housing with services.

Eligibility: Nursing home residents, adult home care consumers, Medicare beneficiaries with hospital discharge problems, or persons wanting to access long-term care services are eligible for service.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Fees: There are no fees for this program.
