Task: Person with sewing experience to make baby slings

Task Details: Baby Connections gives out an infant sling to every family we visit. Slings are cloth carriers that parents use to carry their babies (like a front-pack). Baby Connections purchases the materials and needs volunteers to sew slings at home following a set pattern. Each sling takes about 1.5 hours to make. Baby Connections will give volunteers a tutorial before they make their first sling.

Training:
Baby Connections trains volunteers in sewing slings. Training is done by Bonnie Herrick, Winona County Maternal Child Health nurse.
