Volunteer Task: Clothes Shop Volunteers

Volunteer Task Details: Clothes Shop volunteers are responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and quality service to our customers. These objectives are obtained through sorting, sizing, and restocking good quality used clothing, offering assistance to customers, processing their purchases and maintaining a neat and orderly sorting area and clothes shop.

Frequency: Regular volunteers work 4 hours in the morning or in the afternoon, one day a week.

Length: Morning shifts are from 9:00am to 1:00pm, Afternoon shifts are from 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Training: Volunteers will be given a clothes shop handbook and trained by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Expenses: No expenses.

Background check: There is no background check for applicants. Only reference checks will be initiated.

Committment: For regular volunteers, we ask for a one year commitment. For short term or project volunteers, the commitment time may only be a few hours.

Location: The Clothes Shop is located at 416 East Second Street in Winona.

References: Two references are needed on the application form.
